Assam University, Diphu Campus is proud of its own Central Library which was initiated in the month of December 2007. Presently, the Library is equipped with 13,571 books including textbooks and reference books commonly needed by the students, scholars, and faculties of the University Campus. All books are properly Classified through Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme(DDC). The basic facilities offered by the Library are a reading facility, borrowing, Open Access System, Photocopying, etc. Altogether 23 Journals are being subscribed by the library covering all departments and 8 Magazines along with 15 Newspapers are available to the readers. E-Journals are being accessed through DELNET Consortium and UGC-INFONET Consortium.  Further, with the purpose of fully automating the Central Library, Koha Open Source Software is being utilized for Accessioning & Circulation purposes.
